I'm into yoga and cats big time! I always thought I would grow up to be a lawyer but, fearful that law school would interfere with my yoga class schedule, I instead figured out how to make a career serving cats! Before my true calling revealed itself to me, I took the "jack of all trades" approach to my professional life (acting, communications, special events) and the most rewarding of all - working with non-profit cat welfare organizations in both paid and volunteer positions. After years of my cats taking over my yoga mat every time I got it out to practice, I figured there had to be a solution. At my husband's suggestion, I created Feline Yogi, a company that produces a mini version of a human yoga mat created especially for cats called The Yoga Cat Mat. I was born and raised in Alabama, but I currently make my home in Los Angeles with my Louisiana-born husband, a turtle named Speed, and several cats! My favorite word is y'all and I am one of those cat ladies my mother feared I would become. Meow & Namaste!
