On Honeysuckle Hill/ Geek Sweets, Baking Wizardry Cookbook by Jenny Burgesse Review

What a neat cookbook! There is a little bit of something in here for every geek.

This book does a good job providing inspiration for fun ideas. Over 60 recipes that look professional, yet don’t seem overly complicated to make.

The pictures are fun and vibrant, the recipes are adorable, and everything is laid out very well in an easy-to-follow format. I fell in love with the book when I first
flipped through it.

Recipes are divided into skill levels starting with Squire and you move up as your skills increase. Each recipe has Quest Requirements and most have Skill Checks. There are also Side Quest that help you plan a party that includes a printable invite, recipe, and cocktail.

QUEST THROUGH A TOME OF COUNTLESS FANDOMS:

Star Wars
Minecraft
Dungeons & Dragons
The Legend of Zelda
Harry Potter
Doctor Who, and many more!

INVITES AND RECIPES FOR GEEKY THEME PARTIES:

The Walking Dead Finale Party
Game of Thrones Viewing Party
Game Night Party and more!

This is the perfect book for themed parties for the geek in all of us. There are downloadable templates and great party ideas. I like the fact that they list all items that you would need to make all the recipes so you have an idea of what you may need to complete a project.

If you’re not a regular baker you will have to buy different tools for some of the recipes. I like the fact that they list all items that you would need to make all the recipes so you have an idea of what you may need to complete a project.

Overall, I am very pleased, this would make a great gift for your favorite geek! You can view the book on Amazon.
