Alexandra Franzen has announced the release of her newest book, The Checklist Book: Set Realistic Goals, Celebrate Tiny Wins, Reduce Stress and Overwhelm, and Feel Calmer Every Day.
With so many distractions and stressors in today’s world, it’s difficult to get organized and stay focused on the priorities that really matter. Enter, The Checklist Book.
The Checklist Book focuses on setting realistic goals and celebrating tiny wins throughout your day (“drink a glass of water,” “walk for ten minutes in the fresh air,” “call mom to tell her a hilarious story”). Ultimately, the book helps readers to feel more focused and energized, clear mental clutter, and feel calmer every day.
“I wrote The Checklist Book because we live in a noisy, busy world that’s obsessed with doing more, more, more,” said author, Alexandra Franzen. “So many people try to cram 1,000 tasks into a 24 hour period--which just isn’t realistic or healthy. In our quest to be more productive, we actually end up with the opposite result: feeling drained and stuck. Plus, many people feel perpetually overwhelmed, like they’re drowning in commitments, no room to think or even breathe.
