At Books & Books, we think the more you understand the world of wine - the more you will enjoy drinking and sharing it. That’s why for the past several years, The Café at Books & Books in Coral Gables has been offering a series of six-week classes, every Monday between 6-8pm, during which time a group of 16 students sample 24 different wines and learn everything about the magic grape – from terroir and varietal, to taste and history.

BOOKS & BOOKS' SUMMER WINE PROGRAM
with
Patrick Alexander, author of the forthcoming
The Booklover's Guide to Wine: An Introductory Gudie to the History, Mysteries and Literary Pleasures of Drinking Wine
(Books & Books Press: September 2017)
Patrick Alexander originally developed the Wine Appreciation program when he worked at the University of Miami as Director of the Office of Professional Advancement. More than twenty sold-out classes and over three-hundred satisfied students later we are proud to announce that the next class will run for another six weeks from the dates shown below. After the final class, students select their four favorite wines from the program - to be paired with a delicious four-course meal prepared by Chef Allen Susser, the celebrity innovator of New World Cuisine who directs The Cafe at Books & Books.
