As Father’s Day approaches, Mango Publishing wants to celebrate the children in our lives — our own and those in our communities.
Many of us have been feeling helpless in the face of so much violence and anger in the world. It’s hard to feel positive and strong. However, anyone with children in their lives knows how much JOY kids are able to naturally bring to life. How can we adults cultivate and nurture more joy and awe in our children’s lives? How do we support them in feeling carefree and in having a sense of wonder?
This week’s authors, Bari Koral (“Rocket Ship Yoga,”) and Allen Klein (“The Awe Factor”) take a look at how exhausted adults can explore new ways to bring joy in the lives of children.
Everyone who attends is invited to join the conversation. The panel is facilitated by Sherry Richert Belul (“Say it Now.”)
Mango Author Panels are a great way to get a behind-the-scenes look at the publishing world and what goes on in authors' heads. They are always interactive, often intriguing, and especially warm and inspiring.
This event is free. However, registration is required. Please use the form below and the Zoom link will be sent to you upon registration.
If you would like to join our panels live, they take place Wednesday afternoons at 1:30pm PT until 2:30pm PT. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Zoom links automatically every week. (No obligation to attend, but you will have the link handy if you want to drop in!)
Bari Koral is a singer-songwriter, yoga instructor and creator of Yogapalooza. She is a widely recognized kids yoga expert and is considered a pioneer in the world of kids yoga. Author of “Rocket Ship Yoga,” Bari believes that supporting a child’s joy, spirit and mental health is as important as anything else we can teach our children.
Through his books and keynote presentations, Allen Klein, the world’s only “Jollytologist”, shows people worldwide how to find humor and positivity in their not-so-funny stuff. Allen is author of numerous books, including "The Lighten Up Book: Affirmations and Insights to Inspire Health and Happiness” and, “The Awe Factor: How a Little Bit of Wonder Can Make a Big Difference in Your Life.”
Sherry Richert Belul (author of “Say it Now: 33 Creative Ways to Say I Love You to the Most Important People in Your Life”) is founder of Simply Celebrate, a business dedicated to helping people live colorful, connected, creative lives of love and appreciation.
