Exercise and Mental Health Book Talk with Nita Sweeney

RSVP REQUIRED! Please call 614-777-7338 to RSVP

Join author Nita Sweeney for a book talk about exercise and mental health. Nita will discuss her memoir, Depression Hates a Moving Target: How Running with My Dog Brought Me Back from the Brink.

At 49, a chronically depressed and grief-stricken Nita Sweeney saw a social media post from a high school friend about running. Intrigued, Sweeney leashed up her yellow Labrador retriever, laced up her running shoes, picked up a digital kitchen timer, and set out to run for sixty-second intervals. Depression Hates a Moving Target chronicles Sweeney’s couch to marathon story and her experience using exercise to manage anxiety, depression, and mania. Nita also publishes Write Now Newsletter and the blog, Bum Glue.

Join Nita for a book talk and Q&A about writing, running, and mental health. Books will be available for sale and signing.
